Pancake Party at Upper Branton

Shrove Tuesday (13 February) saw another Pancake Party at Upper Branton.

Local minister, the Rev'd Paul Thompson, tossed the inaugural pancake at 12.00 noon. Pancake races followed: firstly the children's race (organised by the mum's & tots) and then the grannies' race (organised this year by last year's winner, Ethel Grebblington).

At 12.45 pm, a sticky pancake lunch was served, complete with oodles of maple syrup. After lunch, closing devotions included an item from Upper Branton's interpretative dance group entitled 'Battered for Jesus'.
