This year's Easter's Holiday Club at London Road is entitled 'Eggs-citing Times' and takes place on the Tuesday and Wednesday of Easter Week (14 and 15 April). Open to children aged 5-13, it comprises four two-hour sessions (10.00 am – 12.00 noon and 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm each day). In charge, again, is the youth leader at London Road, Georgina Proudfoot, supported – no doubt – by a fantastic team of volunteers. Those attending need to book in advance: in earlier years every place has been taken.
The Club will explore the familiar Easter stories, accompanied by a range of games and activities. Clive Parry, from Ashingford, will advise on baking and Cedarbrook's worship band 'Holy Jingles' will help with music. (Ear plugs may be necessary on the Wednesday morning!) The Club will conclude with the customary 'London Road Egg Hunt'.
