Hawksmere Methodist Church

Hawksmere Chapel was built in 1883. For many years it has worked closely with Dinton Valley, sharing numerous mining gala teas in earlier days. Today, joint services continue the tradition. The chapel is the only church building in Hawksmere and its congregation takes seriously its responsibility to witness for Christ in the village.

The Chapel houses the Hawksmere Jolly Tots Playgroup, which meets five mornings a week in term time.
